Post 5: My future job

Imagen
Hi everyone! I’m back again, I’ve always been sure that I won’t going to work in an office, I find it a bit bored that’s why I chose my career; Dance. The work field is very extensive, you can work as a teacher, in the investigation area, in advertising or for shows, but the thing I would like the most is being part of a company. I would love preparing works for every season! also I think you make very good friends in a company, I was part of one in Arica and the experience was beautiful.  That’s why in my last year of university I will choose the interpreter mention, so I can have a good preparation for being one.  My dream job is more an indoor job, but if we want we could travel around the world, showing our works, and that’s a thing that I would love, visit other countries and knowing other companies and dancers from around the planet, I think they are the most enriching experiences! Greetings!

Post 4: A person I would like to meet

Imagen
There so many people I would like to meet, some artists, activists, politicians, and even people who are no longer in this world. But right now, I would love to meet the famous singer, entrepreneur and designer, Rihanna. Since I was a child, I’ve always liked Rihanna’s music, and I’m sure that most of the people know her, or have listened to her songs. She has a lot of music hits, as “Umbrella”, “Love on the Brain”, “Diamonds”, “Don’t Stop The Music” and  many more. Rihanna has a beautiful voice and also she’s a very good rapper. She’s from Barbados and started her music career been very young, when she was about 15 years old, she was discovered by American record producer Evan Roger. But Rihanna is not only one of the most talented women in the music industry, she also has a makeup and lingerie brand! In 2017 she launched the cosmetics company Fenty Beauty, revolutionizing the way other cosmetic brands approached diversity, including about 40 shades of foundation. Not satis...

Day 3: A day to remember

There are so many days in my life to remember, but I think that one of the most important was the first day in the audition for studying dance. The whole week was importante but I keep in my heart the first day because I enjoyed a lot. I woke up and I was so nervous, I arrived to the university at 7:40 am, very early, actually I was the 3rd persons in the list, in total there were about 200 applicants. I went to the audition with two friends of Arica, we were separated in groups, fortunately, we stay in the same classroom.  It was like a normal dance class, and I went relaxing as the day progressed. I really enjoyed that day because there were no eliminations, I just did what I knew. At the end of the day, my boyfriend pick me up, and we went to Burger King hahah. When I arrived at home, I took a long shower, to release all the tension and prepare for the next day. All that week, was stressing, but anyway, I enjoyed it, and if it wasn’t for all the thing I did and said, I was...

POST 2: the best concert

Imagen
Hi everyone! In my life I’ve gone to three concerts, but if someone ask me about the best, it was One Direction’s concert, it was held at Estadio Nacional in 2014. At that time I was a big fan of the boy band of the year, and in 2013 my dad gave me the ticket for my birthday. I waited almost a year for the concert and the day finally came. I’m from Arica so I had to travel to Santiago, my sister was living here so I stayed in her apartment, she went to the concert too, she wasn’t a big fan, but she had to take care of me hahaha. My best friend at that time went too, we were so close and “directioners” (that’s the name of de fan club). We bought the same ticket location “Andes”, it’s in the side of the stage. That day I woke up at 7 am because we had to get there very early to have a great seat, we waited about 3 hour outside the stadium, and then the doors opened and let us in, I really enjoyed very much that concert. Now I’m not a fan of all the members of 1D but I remember that ...

POST 1: a country I would like to visit

Imagen
Hi everyone! it’s been a long time since I wrote for the last time in this blog, but i’m back! and today I’m going to talk about a country I would like to visit.  In a couple of years I would like to visit Europe, actually i’m saving money for this but if I had enough money I would love to go to Japan, this is a country that really caught my attention, for their culture and beautiful places. In Japan I would like to walk for the main streets of Tokyo, full of lights and places to eat and try the real ramen, go to the magical temples and take pics to a cherry blossom tree. If I go to Japan one day, i cannot miss the Tokyo Studio Ghibli Museum, i’m in love with Hayao Miyasaki’s movies, they are so magical, I love the characters, the plots and the illustrations are beautiful, but the tickets are too expensive, so I have to save a lot of money to go.  However, I wouldn’t live in Japan, the culture shock could be huge, there are many things that are undesirable for the japanese peo...

POST 10 >> SOME REFLECTIONS

Hi everyone! This year has been different to all of us, we have been on quarantine since March, but there are some positive things that I can get from this situation. I’m from Arica, but I went to Santiago on March, so I was able to spend more time with my sister, my father and my dog there, we cook a lot together and we also paint, my sister is probably leaving home next year, so I’m very happy for this time with her. Not everything has been perfect and we had have some troubles on the university, mainly for the connectivity and the not motivation, personally, I don’t have much motivation for the classes, but I keep going because in this context is the only thing that I can do. Some of my achievements are learn to cook different things, and learn to paint with watercolor, my sister is very good at it, so she teach me. Also, I’m a very disorganized, but this time has teach me to order my things like University, extra classes and my hobbies, and be able to do all the things that I ...

POST 9 >> “YOUR FAVORITE BOOK”

Hello classmates! I’m not very good reading, because I can’t keep my concentration, but when I was at school, I read the required books. One of the authors that I like the most was Alberto Fuguet, he is Chilean, and he writes books like “Mala onda”, “Tinta Roja” and “Sobredosis”. As I said before I don’t read too much, but curiously, all the books that I like the most are about young people a little bit wild, but with a normal life, that live something that changes their lifes. I have two favorite books, “Sobredosis” from Alberto Fuguet and “Noche de viernes” from Jordi Sierra i Fabra, I really recommend both, they are very short, so are perfect for people who don’t read too much. I don’t remember the last book that I read completely, but there is another one, that I love, it’s a beautiful history for children and adults too! it calls “Historia de un gato y la gaviota que le enseñó a volar” from Luis Sepúlveda, I read it in 7th grade, but I never get tired of it, if you want to read...
